Elves of Cerrix

Known for their friendliness, resourcefulness, and merriment, elves are thought of across Cerrix as a soft people who prefer song to violence. People who interact with the elves will see foppish sing-songs, who prefer fine things in life, but people who cross the elves will see dangerous adversaries that fight as well as great human heroes, but can also cast magical spells rivaling human’s greatest wizards.

Elves reach adulthood around 20 years old, although they don’t tend to adventure until they are almost into their 40s or 50s. Elves are considered to be middle age at 150, old age at 200, and venerable at 250. Most elves live to be about 300 years old.

Elves tend to stand between 4.5 feet and 5.5 feet tall, with the males tending to be taller than females. They tend to weigh between about 90 to 120 lbs., with males tending to be heavier than females.

Play Information

Elven societies are usually amazing communities where elves are free to peruse their passions, as such elves are wide and varied, and usually take on fun hobbies, such as singing, dancing, or playing instruments. Few elves adventure.

Valid Classes

Elves can be a member of the following classes:

As an elf, you cannot multi-class, and instead must play specific elven classes. Many normal “racial features” are baked into all of their classes.

There is an optional rule that allows you to play any race as any class. Separating a majority of the “racial features” from the specific elven classes allows you to more easily use that optional rule.

For example, in the default rules, all elf classes are able to cast Thaumaturgies of some kind, and all elf classes have access to specific weapon groups that are trained by all elves. In Cerrix, all elves have a strong tie to magic, and all elven adventurers use it. Additionally, all elves have the option to learn to use bows. However, these may not fit your campaign world.
